<aside> ➡️ Did you know? Most HE-CMS use their own language or jargon, which is different from how you speak. That is ok. We all use different words based on our context, talking one way with family and another way at work. The key to successfully using an HE-CMS is to play around with it and learn that the words the site uses. For example, instead of the word "tests," you might see the word "assessments," and "readings" may be under "content." It is a great idea to ask your faculty or IT department for help if you are struggling to understand your HE-CMS: most colleges have introductory videos and tutorials.
