<aside> 👤 There are many roles required to helping the Dream DAO function and thrive. Some of these are elected, but others are not and will evolve from season-to-season. This brain dump is dedicated to exploring what a process for developing and compensating these roles might be.

Current Non-elected Roles

• Joshua: POAP Distributor
• Adarsh: Email Sender
• Shreya: DAO Documentarian (Writes tweet threads for every LT and posts them)

Process for Role Creation

The Dream DAO Council will steward the process of non-elected role creation. The entire process will be guided by forms submitted by the community, which the council will review.

At any time, someone can submit a form to:

• Propose the creation of a role in general:

  They will state how the role will serve the DAO, what responsibilities it would entail, and how much they think the role might be compensated.

• Propose the creation of a role for themself:

  They will state why they are best for the role, how the role will serve the DAO, what responsibilities it would entail, and how much they think they might be compensated.

If the council approves the role, a Snapshot proposal will be created for the DAO to vote on. If the DAO votes yes, the role is created! If the role is not created by the person who wants to fulfill it, there will be an election for the role that follows the same process as the working group coordinator elections.

Criteria for Creating a Non-elected Role

When thinking about the creation of non-elected roles, both the community and the council should consider the following criteria:

• Cannot be performed adequately by a group of people
• Cannot be performed adequately or does not fit under the responsibility of any working group
