Here are my suggestions about Dream DAO 3rd Season:
About the Selective Process to enter in Dream DAO, for new Builders&Champions:
- I really liked the idea of referrals + bounties!
- I'm doing PR with some prospections organizations that could potentially share about Dream DAO with their GenZ's. I still haven't said much because I'm waiting for more guidance on how the next season will work!
- Goodwall, Rise, LALA, GCYA, Civics Unplugged, are great examples of high engaged youths that are already in some path of leadership, so their chances to desire to participate are high. The problem is that only targeting those communities makes Dream DAO with a lack of diversity, in a sense where we won't reach the youths who could never be part of these projects for some reason.
- But I'm totally down to contact more orgs like these ones, because still is great to have youths already in the flow of making change.
- To raise more youth diversity I totally recommend to get in touch with NGO's, other web3 programs that have underprivileged people in their communities. Like the Web3Favelas
- Double down the Twitter promotion, and invite more builders, champions and Friends of DAO to share it, would help a lot!
- We can even make some videos about Dream DAO! Get some people to say about the Explores Program, Learning Together and Gatherings
- Me and Joshua started to make some follow up's with the people we met in ETH Mexico and Devcon, we can be more specific, when talking with them and share more details about the 3rd Season! Instead of just inviting to our discord or something…
About the Admissions process:
- I would love to know about the requirements to join Dream DAO as a Builder! Besides the basically stuffs related to motivations, fit and bla bla bla, I think we should also add an extra care about the DEIA factor (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility). Imagine how much more depth we could reach, when getting more under represented people into our DAO!?
Got reject, what else you can do to stay engaged with Dream DAO
- Let's make sure that they know how to continue to find us! Share our social medias, discord and learning together (specially it, since you don't need to have an NFT to attend the sessions + is an educational content that them all people can be benefited .) are amazing ways to stay in touch with us
After getting accepted - spoiler bootcamp:
- Make sure that they know about the bootcamp and see it as a requirement for their participation at Dream DAO
From the Bootcamp to the Dream DAO Ecosystem:
- It would be really cool if we take the month of February to set the community rhythms.
- I also feel that before choosing a working group, we could have a “probatory” phase.
- We could manage to have the first week of february to already have some kind of Working Group Meetings, just to intro a little deeper about the WG. And just after that let people choose about what they want
- Explain better the merit badges also!
- I imagine that in march we could start the mentorship, since people would already get the habits of the DAO, and we would have more champions to match.
Others:
- It's pretty important to show that Dream DAO is really a space for co-creation and contribution. even tho, we have some clear projects and tasks to do ( working groups, bounties…), we can emphasize that proactivity is the best cloth to wear. Have a higher look about ways to improve our DAO, be an active voting member on the propals, and share their thoughts on the discussions are super important too. We have a bunch of things to get better, and create, and the best way to do it, is taking ownership of these things :)
