The images below are the first draft of my user journey. This is from my old design, but the layout is completely different now. With this design, the user is instructed on how to use eye-tracking to navigate the app. My original idea was to use eye-tracking, but after much thought, discussion and research, I decided to just use the wireless controllers to interact with the app. This was because it was too complicated for the audience and also from my research I found out that older people believe that using controllers in VR is a much easier and a quicker way of navigating through VR.
In this old user journey, there is more unnecessary interaction than my current design. It involved looking at objects to access them, e.g. for the user to enter the MRI scan, they are instructed to look at the machine for a specific amount of time. Again, this is one of the many reasons to redact the eye-tracking element. With this draft, I never fully completed the user journey, as midway through I decided to go a different route with the design, as I thought there is too many flaws and problems.
See the images below for more info on the journey. I have also included my second draft of my user flow below the sketches.
