Dear dada,

I am a Baganda..The Baganda are the largest ethnic group in Uganda, residing primarily in the Buganda region.

They are a Bantu people with their own language, Luganda, and a rich cultural heritage.

The Baganda are known for their traditional monarchy, with the Kabaka (king) holding a significant place in their society.

WHY WE DANCE THE WAY WE Dance..

In Buganda, dances like Bakisimba, Muwogola, and Nankasa are integral to their culture, serving as a means of storytelling, celebrating achievements, and expressing emotions.

These dances are performed at various occasions, including weddings, royal ceremonies, and other important cultural events, demonstrating the Baganda's love for celebration and their strong attachment to their traditions.
