About Free Chai Counters

Charitable trust launches ‘Free Chai Counter’ in Hyderabad

The Free Chai Counter Project was launched midst the pandemic following the motto—“No One Should Sleep Hungry” Using LooCafe Mini Models (LooCafe Minis) and partnering up with Vedanth Nath & his team at LooCafe’s Innovation and Outreach, Dr Rabinder Nath Foundation began the Free Chai Counter Initiative.

[ ] Open throughout the day. 365 Days a year
[ ] Free Chai (Tea) and Snacks for passersby and the homeless community surrounding the area, also installed in close proximity to the Hyderabad Cancer Hospital in Jubliee Hillls, therefore supporting a lot of patients and their families
[ ] Estimating over 20 Cups, an average given out every hour, with snacks, we’ve to date served over 1,16,800 Cups of tea and 17,520 pieces of snacks, a tea, and a snack is perhaps more than a full meal for most people that use the free chai counter, whether low income or high, anyone can avail the facilities (Also free washrooms!)
