Introduction
- Do we love Allah ? We all gonna say yes. But, now, Do we love him with actions? How truthful is our love for him?
- Do we love RasulullAh صَلَّىٰ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم ? We all gonna say yes as well. But, now, how many of us fasted last thursday? (⇒ ie : who follow his sunnah?)
1. Allah, the number 1 in our lives and choices
⇒Imam Shafi’i said, “You disobey Allah, and you claim you love him! This is impossible. If you are truly in love with Him, you’ll follow him and obey the Beloved (the Prophet صَلَّىٰ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم*)”*
What makes us take decisions? Usually, it’s because i love it, or “why not?”.
- But it should be, “Because, Allah loves it, i’ll do it” . “Ya Allah anything you said, is my priority. If everyone loves it, Al hamdulilAh. If nobody loves it, Al hamdulilAh.”
- It should never be what people think about me, but “what Allah thinks about me?”
- When we love Allah, we do what He wants, not what WE want.
Example. Allah :
- loves those who keep repenting
- doesn’t love those who do injustice ⇒ it can be small things. In the house, one of the biggest act of injustice is for exemple, wasting water while washing the dishes or while brushing our teeth ⇒it’s injustice against the earth, which is a creation of Allah.

Injustice: putting something not in the right place nor in the right moment
</aside>
⇒That means that injustice is closer to us that we think. To some extent, we all might do forms of injustice in our daily lives
2. Loving Allah, is following His prophet صَلَّىٰ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم
- We should love Allah, and then the Prophet more than ourselves →
- Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “None of you have faith until I am more beloved to him than his children, his father, and all of the people.”
