Scheduled daily Downloads cleanup run for 2026-04-26. Sam was not present; this ran autonomously. Goal: scan /Users/samaguiar/Downloads, inventory all loose files, identify dupes and near-dupes, flag 30+ day old files, and produce a proposal report for Sam to approve or decline each action.
No auto-approved actions were triggered this run (no exact hash dupes, no SKILL.md at root, no .DS_Store, no zero-byte files). All findings are proposals awaiting Sam's approval.
Scan complete. 158 loose files found at Downloads root. 103 are .docx files. The folder has significant clutter from previous Claude sessions that exported Word docs, session summaries, and handoff notes directly to Downloads.
Near-duplicate numbered copies identified: 15 groups where a base file and a (1) or (2) numbered copy coexist. Same byte size in most cases; hashes differ due to docx internal metadata timestamps. Per Sam's rule, the lower-numbered copies should be staged.
Installers found: Antigravity.dmg (196MB) and kimi_3.0.4.dmg (270MB), both from Apr 24. Under the 7-day auto-stage threshold, so staged to proposals.
Folders with '2' suffix: Three folders (routines-build 2, sa-template-reference 2, Contact Us Page Redesign Ideas 2) exist without an original counterpart. These are real working folders with bad names.
Stray cleanup meta-folders at root: exact_dupes/, stray_project_files/, zips_already_extracted/, all-skills/ are sitting at Downloads root from prior cleanup runs.
Previous staging folders pending manual deletion: _to_delete_2026-04-24/ and _to_delete_2026-04-25/ both have content from prior runs and are ready to trash.
No files older than 30 days were found at root level.
