This is a (working) list of “Dot Phrases” that I’ve accumulated during my time in residency/fellowship that can be used to make documentation easier.
Most of it has been copied/pasted and converted from Epic to be more friendly with Meditech Expanse (namely removing the helpful drop-down menus, radio buttons, and converting *** → [] for free text add ins).
For many of the items in the DISCHARGE tab, there are links to handouts that you can print for your patients.
NB: Note that these tools are not necessarily complete as it’s a work in progress
NB2: May be useful to use some of them in conjunction (e.g. URTI in a kid → use Kawasaki Disease in “Clinical Decision Tools” as well!)
