Objective

To create an intuitive and efficient tool for WATTWIN customers to build quotation templates and bids in a practical way, allowing customization and inclusion of dynamic data without the need for technical or programming knowledge.

Context

WATTWIN offers a SaaS platform for the management of solar self-consumption projects. A central feature is the automated generation of customized documents (offers and quotes) based on data provided by the customer.

User Research

I conducted assisted testing with users to observe how they created templates. Key findings:

• 🔍 Difficulties at the start of document creation.
• ❓ Lack of understanding about variables.
• 🎨 Limitations in the style bar.

Main Challenges

Feedback Analysis.

I organized the feedback into groups and discussed with PM, developers and stakeholders. We analyzed them in detail. The feedback indicated that the library used was very limited, and we got approval to develop our own tool.
