🌏 Respecting diversity

We protect race, neurology, disability, religion, gender diversity, and whatever else makes someone unique within our company. We believe that a diverse workforce is imperative to having a successful business. To that end, we will continually safeguard practices that make our workplace more welcoming to any individual regardless of background. Although we are a US-based company, our team has varied origins and therefore varied accents, dialects, and manners of speaking - we never discriminate against individuals with accents or who speak English as a second (or third, or fourth, etc.) language, we welcome and respect this.

⚖️ Equal opportunities

We will provide fair and equitable compensation, growth, and opportunity to every member of our team. We are committed to conducting fair career assessments and providing career advancement opportunities such as providing an education budget and honoring our staff’s requests for time away to attend conferences, lectures, and other educational events on a regular basis. If there is critical learning required for a role, we don’t include this as an education expense, we will cover all fees for all essential training.

🤝 Inclusive practices

Inclusive practices start by respecting and honoring our coworker's differences. In order to develop a culture of belonging, we are committed to ensuring that identity is never a barrier and that everyone has the tools needed to thrive at work. We share name pronunciations upfront in our internal team directory and hold each other accountable for adhering to them. We respect one another's pronouns which are disclosed on our public site. We do not believe in “culture fit” and we have an internal D&I working group that strives to reinforce practices of belonging.

💙 Prioritizing accessibility

Accessibility is at the cornerstone of the work we produce and we also believe it should be at the center of our workplace policies. In order to create ubiquitous accessibility for our teammates, we are committed to providing the tools, support, and space for coworkers with varied accessibility needs to be successful. As a digital and remote company, we recognize that there are several adjustments that could be needed to make work more accessible for our employees. We commit to adhering to our promise of universal accessibility and will make adjustments when and if needed, no questions asked. Accessibility needs will never impact a hiring or promotion decision as we feel that is it the responsibility of the company, not the co-worker to ensure that the workplace is as accessible as possible.
