1️⃣ The first week of Discovery will look like this:
🗺 On Monday, we will be gathering and preparing our camping supplies, making food lists, and deciding on most of our activities for the Ghost Ranch experience.
🌵 Tuesday through Friday we’ll head up to Ghost Ranch for hiking, art, Georgia O’Keefe, maybe some wilderness skills (depending on our personnel), ropes course, and, if the planets align, boating on the lake.
🚗 Return to EMHS Friday afternoon.
2️⃣ Week two looks like this:
🎨 We have no class on Monday, of course, and Tuesday you have the day off campus to work on a project of your choosing that should represent your Ghost Ranch experience.
🖼 Wednesday and Thursday are on campus for you to finish and polish your final projects and have them ready for presentation on Friday.
⛺ Camping details:
We will be camping in tents, which means that most people signing up for this Discovery will need their own camping equipment (tent, ground pad, sleeping bag). We will most likely need to put more than one person in a tent, so plan on at least one tent mate. We will eat some meals in the lodge and will probably handle breakfast on our own at the camp – no foraging for wild edibles. There are bathhouses with showers, also – no digging latrines.
