I'll spare everyone a long diatribe on the subject. Here are some possible reasons to be opposed to NFTs:

• When proposed on the the issue tracker, NFTs received a broadly negative response for Discord users: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4408249805975-Web3-Integration-w-Discord
• Several platforms, including Steam, have already banned NFTs.
• Most NFTs appear to have little value and exist only to speculate on. (in other words, they appear to be part of a speculative bubble)
• Many NFTs infringe on copyright or are made without artists' consent -- they appear to be a way to launder bought or stolen artwork. (This includes most NFT games)
• Using NFTs currently requires opting into Ethereum, which currently causes a lot of environmental waste.
• Blockchains (especially proof-of-stake blockchains) tend to reward people for already owning assets, not for doing useful work.
• In some locations, NFTs are becoming regulated as "assets with cash value."

Aside from that, this survey doesn't seem like a good idea to me. It doesn't allow you to express disinterest towards NFTs at all.

Some people on Twitter are claiming that it was only posted on DeFi/NFT communities -- if that's the case, then its wording makes a little more sense, but in that case the answers would only be useful for figuring out how to onboard users to NFT-on-Discord, not for assessing overall interest.

As a message to Discord developers reading this thread: now is a good time to quit your job. I guarantee you'd be happier than you are in your current role, where you just spent an entire sprint working on a feature your userbase universally hates.
