What we're looking for

Merri is looking for a Director/VP of Sales (role will be scoped based on applicant) to join our growing New York based team. You will be responsible for leading our sales efforts to hit aggressive supply-side acquisition milestones, overseeing the launch of all venues and vendors on our platform. We’re looking for an ambitious, seasoned, and driven salesperson who is an expert in the tactical elements of business development (e.g. prospecting, pitching, negotiating), but can also own the sales strategy. Said another way, you enjoy getting your hands dirty, but can also work directly with the CEO to define commercial strategy and lead growth across all geographies and customer segments

The ideal candidate has experience in SMB SaaS sales, with marketplace experience a plus. This individual is a strategic problem solver, with a unique ability to operate at the 30,000-foot view while also deploying ground level tactical strategies to build an efficient sales engine. You’re energized by building relationships with potential clients, and do whatever is necessary to convert them into avid Merri users.
