1) Program Introduction

Thank you for your interest in bringing Digital Access Now to your community. Your chapter helps ensure that access to opportunity is a right, not a privilege.

Every community is different.

Some need laptops.

Others need digital skills training.

This kit is designed to be flexible while still giving you a proven structure to succeed.

2) What Is a Chapter?

A Digital Access Now Chapter is a local group of students or community members dedicated to digital equity.

Chapters focus on three pillars:

• Device Access
• Digital Skills
• Tech Support

Chapters follow the mission of Digital Access Now, while adapting to local needs.

For example, a university chapter might refurbish used laptops from the Computer Science department.

A high school chapter might teach coding to elementary students.

3) Chapter Expectations (To Stay Active)

To remain active, chapters must:

1. Deliver impact
   • Complete at least one project per quarter.
   • Examples include a device drive or a skills workshop.
   • Report results through the Impact Reporting Form.
