Effective September 22, 2021, employees with company-issued laptops as well as employees who wish to continue using their personal devices (BYOD devices) to complete their assigned work are required to allow Proactive Talent’s IT Support Vendor, Trinsic Technologies, to install the following software on all applicable devices:

This new device policy is being issued for the sake of protecting the regulated data of Proactive Talent and the clients we serve. Small businesses are the number one target for criminals and represent 43% of all data breaches, according to a 2019 study. Data breaches are continuing to headline in the news, and Proactive Talent and many small businesses like us are rightly being pressured to take action to prevent our clients and ourselves from becoming another headline.

The software mentioned above allows our IT Support Ventor to prevent malware and malicious software from installing on employee devices. It will also enable Trinsic to provide 24/7/356 remote IT support as an added benefit to our employees.

As we launch this new device security policy, we want to make clear that none of the above software will track or monitor any of the activities of our employees, nor does it attempt to track productivity. Additionally, the screen-sharing technology is intended to allow Trinsic to view and access employee devices remotely to troubleshoot IT concerns and can only activate after explicit approval from the device user.

Proactive Talent operates on a foundation of trust and transparency with our employees and will continue to do so for many years to come. We appreciate your continued support as we continue to grow and evolve as a company.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you,

Andi Grey
