Development Support Initiatives is a local Organization registered with the Malawi government. The Organization is implementing health related projects in Nkhotakota district – Malawi.
We are seeking funding support to address a critical gap in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information among youths in Nkhotakota District, Malawi. Currently, young people in this area lack access to accurate and reliable SRH information, often relying on peers who may share misconceptions or myths. The absence of internet access further limits their ability to obtain trustworthy information from reputable sources, hindering their ability to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
To bridge this gap, we propose to purchase a laptop with internet connectivity for youth in Nkhotakota. This initiative will enable young people to access credible SRH information from reputable websites and online resources, empowering them to make informed choices and improving their overall health outcomes.
We kindly request your support in the amount of $1,000 to implement this project, which we believe will significantly benefit the youth community by providing them with essential health information and fostering safer health practices. The $1,000 dollars will be used for purchasing laptops and dongle.
