A selection of contemporary issues is provided as a backdrop for raising awareness of the skills and attributes required by employers. In addition, a focus on pre-professional identity development helps students to begin articulating their professional selves and exploring the skills and experience required in their intended career and industry.

🚫 What we expect from you

Your academic development, including

  1. independent enquiry,
  2. review of academic literature,
  3. research skills, and;
  4. reflective practice, encouraging students to identify links and similarities between academic and professional skills.

Assessment 🔑

  1. Individual oral poster presentation (12 minutes). Students will be required to present three key learning points from their reflective learning journals.
  2. Written individual project report that builds on the project outline (formative task) and presents the results of the small-scale project carried out 2500 words excluding appendices.
