Impact:
The beta cohort of 80 users showed an early proof point, 45% (36 users) acted on at least one recommendation without any guidnece or walkthroughs. This validates that users could understand, navigate, and trust the recommendations, while also signaling strong potential as an engagement driving factor.
Cashtrac is a financial planning SaaS tool that enables users to simulate and forecast their future cash flow. It considers both real life financial situations and hypothetical scenarios, allowing users to experiment, plan ahead, compare, and make informed decisions with confidence.

Recommendations come into play when users create different plans with specific financial goals to evaluate how their cashflow and overall financial health might look throughout the journey of achieving that goal. For each plan, the system provides tailored suggestions, small, actionable adjustments users can make, to optimize efficiency and improve the likelihood of reaching their goal without running into financial difficulties.
When exploring patterns, I searched extensively across financial tools, learning/content platforms, and investment apps. Surprisingly, no financial tool offered a comparable recommendation system within planners.
