Description

We’re a small, early-stage team with experience across Google, Microsoft, Noom, Udacity and more. We are building a phone-first product that helps everyday people create small, personal tools for their daily lives

We’re in the early stages of prototyping and testing, and we’re looking for a design freelancer who want hands-on experience designing a real consumer product from the ground up.

This role is for someone who is comfortable using Figma and enjoys designing simple, thoughtful mobile app screens. You’ll work closely with the founding team and see how design decisions move quickly from idea → screen → user feedback.

What We're Building

Mash is a consumer app/website that lets everyday people create small personal software for themselves and share it with friends. Think medication trackers, habit journals, mini games, trip planners, niche collection logs, coordination tools. Anything you've ever wished existed but couldn't build.

For decades, software has been something companies made and people consumed. AI changes that. For the first time, anyone can be a creator. Mash is built around that shift.

Most "vibe coding" tools are aimed at developers, “creators" (e.g. PMs)” or aspiring ones. Mash is for people who don’t even know what “vibe coding” is. The experience is social too: not just creating for yourself, but sharing what you make with people in your life.
