It provides the team with the foundational knowledge to further strengthen the design process. You could rephrase them as per product and client requirements.

Ice-Breaker

The ice-breaker sessions usually help stakeholders get into the grove of the design workshop. It consists of some basic questions that everyone participates in, both individually and as groups. This also helps the designer understand the mindset of the stakeholders better.

  2. What is your favorite fruit/food?
  3. Two truths and a lie (my name is..my job/role is..my desire for the sprint is..)
  4. 3-part question
  5. Where would you want to be in the world at this point?
  6. Gift and hooks (define characteristics /gifts that help you work in the team and then define your hooks, i.e. - requirements for staying actively involved in the group work)
  7. What are some of your hidden talents?
  8. What is your favorite movie?
  9. Where do you have your best ideas?
  10. What is your pet peeve?

Kick-off

  1. What are the worst-case scenarios that might happen because of the product?
  2. What would you dislike the most if you were a user of this product?
  3. Are you clear about why this workshop is being organized and what it will help achieve?
  4. What problems and needs are we looking to solve with this product?
  5. What does the product have to do?
