Peer to Peer multiplayer game (you can use a port forwarder to connect to each other)

Overview

The Game is a multiplayer Co-op survival game that makes full use of the multiplayer capabilities of Unity 6. You will be travelling around a post apocalyptic world where you are limited on resources. The goal of the game is to live as long as possible.

System Architecture

The Game can be played between host and client machines with a peer-to-peer connection. This is not a web game, both players must install the game in order to play it with one another. Player characters in game can interact with eachother within the same play area.

Interface/API Definitions

Players will use Keyboard and Mouse to control their characters. Players will be using their own devices to connect.

Gameplay Loop

The world starts up with players in different parts of the starter map. Players can find items and shelters. Once they are prepared, they can come outside and battle some enemies. Enemies may have drops. Players are better equipped but injured so they must seek shelter again. Players replenish and get ready to hunt the next major enemy. Repeat the process until all big bosses are defeated or all players die.
