Group Crit Advice
- Running Weekly Design Critiques in the Design Collective
- A core part of our cohort experience is running weekly design critiques that brings everybody together to talk their latest work for the week.
- One of our challenges is maintaining community amidst a 100%-virtual remote environment. We're always tweaking things, so let us know what you think : )

Awesome Case Studies ✍️🌟
"Uber Pickup Redesign" by Simon Pan
- Former Uber designer who talked about his experience with the 2016 Uber Rides redesign. I liked the way he structured the study by having clear headlines which clearly told me what stage of the design process he was on, and gave me at TL;DR version of the project if I wanted to quickly go through it. Also since he conducted real user research, it was nice to see how the actual results his team saw when he talked to actual users was different than his initial assumptions, so he had to reframe his problem in the middle of the project. Shows that the "design process" can sometimes be messy and not just a linear solution! — Brian
