Being alone can be terrifying because it means we have to face all of the things we have been avoiding: repressed trauma or negative emotions. We sometimes have beliefs that negatively impact our relationship with ourselves. This episode challenges that belief.

I thought of the idea to record this episode when I was going through some podcast episode ideas I came up with probably over a year ago. Some podcasters I love have made episodes about finding hobbies and loving alone time, and those episodes have helped me tremendously! I will link some on this page. I decided to do the same, but put my own little twist on it. Because a podcast episode can’t be made by me without a little self-reflection somewhere within it.
I start by talking about why we avoid being alone, and the (usually) subconscious fears that come up. Then, I discuss how you can let go of those fears and start enjoying your own company. Lastly, I share things that you can do when you’re alone and the journal prompt.
