Some Useful Reminders
Each piece of content should address:
- a main topic (e.g., cake design)
- a related topic (e.g., cake design training)
- an intent (how to choose a cake design training program)
An ideal search intent/research question contains:
- an action verb: obtain, purchase, sell, choose
- intention-carrying words (who, what, how, where)
- a question (and therefore a question mark :) )
⇒ Don't hesitate to directly type the question into Google: the suggestions might give you additional ideas!
⇒ mindreader.ai, SEMRush (content section), answerthepublic are great tools to delve deeper into the subject.
Take a qualitative look at your research (search in Google: your related topic / your research question and see what comes up, along with the type of content).
- Sometimes, it's better to present a product with a landing page than to respond with a blog article.
- And sometimes, you just need to take existing content and improve it.
