Brand environment architecture for a newly independent automotive technology company — building visual infrastructure from the ground up under NYSE launch pressure.

Client: Delphi Technologies · Role: Lead Graphic Designer · Scope: Trade Show Environmental Design, Event Brand Architecture, Corporate Launch Communications · Year: 2017–2019

Overview

Architected enterprise event branding for Delphi Technologies across CES and AAPEX during the company's critical post-spinoff period — designing the visual environments that established brand authority for a newly NYSE-listed public entity with no existing event infrastructure.

The work required building a physically deployable brand system capable of communicating enterprise credibility and technical authority to industry audiences, investors, and partners simultaneously — at launch, with no room for iteration.

Challenge

Delphi Technologies separated from Delphi Automotive and listed on the NYSE in December 2017. There was no established event brand infrastructure. No trade show templates. No production-ready environmental systems.

The organization needed a visual presence capable of performing at CES and AAPEX — two of the automotive industry's most prominent annual events — immediately, and at the same standard as companies with decades of brand equity behind them.

Solution

Architected trade show environmental brand systems for CES and AAPEX, translating the emerging Delphi Technologies identity into large-format booth architecture, structural graphic systems, and immersive attendee environments. Built fabrication-ready production specifications enabling accurate vendor handoff and on-site installation across multiple venues under event deadlines. Developed a scalable environmental brand framework capable of extending into future trade show cycles without requiring full redesign. Extended brand architecture into corporate milestone communications supporting the NYSE debut and investor-facing visibility at launch.

Impact

Established Delphi Technologies' brand presence at two of the automotive industry's most prominent annual trade shows in the company's first year as a public entity. Delivered the visual infrastructure required for a credible enterprise market debut. Enabled consistent cross-venue brand execution through production-ready standards — giving a newly independent company the environmental authority of an established one.
