What this policy covers

This policy describes what personal information we collect when you use the Delicias mobile app on iOS or Android, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account information. When you sign up, you can choose one or more of four sign-in methods:

  • Google — Sign in with Google; we receive the email address and name on your Google account.
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple; we receive the email address associated with your Apple ID (or Apple's private relay address, if you choose "Hide My Email"), plus your name the first time only.
  • Phone number — we send you a 6-digit SMS code to verify the number, then store the number on your account.
  • Email address — we send you a 6-digit code or a magic link to verify the address, then store the address on your account.

  We do not use password-based sign-in, so we never see or store a password. You can add or remove sign-in methods at any time from your Profile → Security & Sign-in.

• Biometric authentication (optional). If your device has Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometrics enrolled and you turn on "Require biometric to open the app," we ask iOS or Android to verify you before unlocking the app. Your biometric data never leaves your device. We only receive a yes/no answer from the operating system; we never see your fingerprint, face map, or any other biometric identifier.

• Referral codes. If you use a referral link from another user, we store which user referred you so both of you can receive credits.

Information collected automatically

• Subscription and purchase data. If you buy a premium subscription, our in-app-purchase provider (RevenueCat) receives a device identifier and your subscription status from Apple or Google. This is used to verify your entitlement to premium content.
• App usage events needed for features to work. We record which recipes you have unlocked using your free credits or a share-unlock link, so that recipe stays unlocked next time you open the app. We do not track browsing, taps, scrolling, or screen views beyond what the app needs to show you your saved state.
• Crash and error diagnostics. If the app crashes or encounters an error, we may collect anonymized technical information (device model, OS version, stack trace) to help us fix bugs. No content from inside the app is included.

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not use third-party advertising.
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
