📑 How Iberlabs Works

Iberlabs is an initiative funded by the Polkadot treasury focused on identifying adoption opportunities, connecting projects with the right ecosystem resources, and supporting their path toward integration or success within the network.

We do not offer direct funding or execute integrations, but rather act as a strategic connector, guiding projects based on their needs and ensuring they reach the appropriate teams, programs, or funding sources.

Our work is structured around three core pillars:

  1. Lead generation, through events, partnerships, and community collaboration.
  2. Needs qualification and guidance, understanding what the project truly needs, what it contributes to the ecosystem, and how the ecosystem can support them.
  3. Delegation and follow-up, connecting the project with the right entities and staying involved during their journey.

We collaborate with other ecosystem teams like ours, and refer projects to programs such as the Marketing Bounty, Velocity, Alpha Program, PBA, and venture capital firms like Scytale, Harbour Capital, or others

✅ Status Structure

To ensure clarity, visibility, and scalability, Iberlabs should use a limited and standardized set of statuses, aligned with the phases of the deal flow.

Status When to use it
First contact Initial outreach made; early-stage lead
Qualified Lead is relevant and basic evaluation is done
Proposal in progress Proposal is being drafted, discussed, or was sent
Handed over Responsibility passed to another entity (e.g., W3F, VC)
Project In progress The project is executing the integration, PoC, or action
Paused On hold due to inactivity, delays, or pending response
Dropped Not moving forward (no fit, no interest, or no response)
Success Completed successfully (grant, integration, adoption)
