Status: Official | Version: 1.3 | Governing Body: DeSci Asia Core Team | by Rebecca Wong Date: Feb-2026

I. Core Principles: Community Sovereignty & Global Coordination

  1. Distributed Global Coordination: We position ourselves as a regional coordination node within the global DeSci collaboration network. Partnerships should aim to build a sustainable, high-integrity community ecosystem rather than simple traffic exchange.
  2. Sovereignty Within a Shared Framework: We adhere to the principle of “Shared Framework + Distributed Governance + Preserved Community Sovereignty”. While participating in global collaborations, DeSci Asia retains full autonomy over its community governance, brand identity, and operational decisions.

II. Governance Rights and Decision-Making

  1. Council Representation: In alliance-level collaborations, DeSci Asia shall designate one official representative to join the Alliance Council.
  2. Equal Voting Power: Decisions follow the basis of “one community, one vote”.
  3. Transparent Decision Flow: Major mechanism designs must follow a clear process of “Proposal → Evaluation → Approval or Rejection,” ensuring our participation is meaningful and substantive.

III. Incentive Mechanisms and Member Benefits

  1. Contribution-Based Rewards: Partners should provide a structured reward system that recognizes the efforts of our members in event participation, content creation, and referral actions. These incentives should carry governance reference weight and future conversion benefits.

IV. Collaboration Boundaries and Risk Management

  1. Lightweight Collaboration: Coordination will be conducted through a lightweight structure, focusing on unified branding standards and shared participation guidelines to maintain organizational agility.
  2. Technical Independence & Zero-Overhead: DeSci Asia is not required to provide technical development capabilities or technical integration. By avoiding deep technical coupling, we mitigate technical redundancy and systemic security risks.
  3. Safe Onboarding Pathways: Any collaboration involving member participation must utilize official, standardized onboarding links and participation pathways to ensure data privacy and route security.
  4. Project Stewardship & Sovereignty Return: For projects that align with open science spirits but face distress, DeSci Asia may provide temporary stewardship and resource support. Once the project is capable of independent operation, we fully support the return of its sovereignty.
  5. Transparency & Zero-Endorsement Policy: For projects where background materials are insufficient, DeSci Asia will fully disclose known facts and provide explicit risk warnings. We do not provide promises regarding token underwriting or expected returns.
  6. Compliance & Reputation Review: Partners must demonstrate long-term operational credibility. We implement a semi-annual evaluation model to ensure quality partnerships and discourage short-term exploitation.

V. Resource Sharing and Brand Amplification

  1. Brand Alignment: Both parties shall display each other as strategic partners in relevant public materials and community channels.
