I started writing this at 7:51 pm, but one of my closest friends called in for a gossip session. Such a coincidence!

Effortless, timeless bonds that never lose spark are my favourite. Luckily, I've been fortunate enough to have the most amazing lot of friends all my life. No matter how long it's been, we start exactly where we left.

The most ironic part is I (always tend to) meet them at the most unexpected times. I mean it! These are some of the funniest incidents of my life:

• Met 3 of them in a felicitation function (in which all of us were UNINVITED, btw)
• Met one in college and teased my girl-friends "Don't date him. He's too tall." (He's now my partner, btw)
• Met one in my drop year because we were both losers and not interested in JEE. (She's now my best friend, btw)
• Met two of them in our school auto in kindergarten. (It's been good 20 years!)

etc. etc.

Once a year, some of us get together, discuss EVERYTHING, hug indefinitely, and eat like animals. It's like an annual meetup to rant about everything and mock one person at a time. The only therapy I will ever need.

One brocode that we all follow unsaid is, hugging each other whenever we meet. No words. Just shut up, and hug me first.

Ah! Those hugs!

Is it just me, or hugs actually do work like magic!?

I think my friends are the snuggliest people you will ever meet. (One of my friends picks me up every time he hugs me, I mean Aww.)
