In the group, there was lot of buzz around regarding webflow. Webflow is a front-end development tool.

Earlier I have worked on building websites purely based on coding. It took lot more time, effort and collaboration between developers and designers.

With webflow, the task of developers can totally be eliminated. So front-end developers start adapting to these advancements in dev stack.

Why webflow for front-end development

  1. For front-end developer with understanding of coding, using webflow is quite easier. And once you use this tool, you are not going back to coding front-end by hand.
  2. They have classes and reusable styles. Basically not just making site is easier but also maintaining them.
  3. Writing CSS is all about visual styling. With webflow, you don't need to spend hours on writing code at one place and see the result somewhere else. You can immediately see how your layout tweaks can impact the site.
  4. You can publish in just fraction of time. Webflow also includes publishing and hosting. Once you have build your site visually, you are just one click away from publishing it. Tadaaa...your site is live.
  5. Learning something new can be quite daunting. Webflow university has great educational content making learning easy, fun and approachable.
