Program/Major: Biomedical Informatics

David is currently investigating whether deep learning models of genetic regulation and evolution can improve phenotype prediction. When he’s not working, David like to cook, play music, rock climb, and surf. When he is working, he enjoys seeing his labmates' pets and surprise appearances by Prof. Carter’s kids on Zoom. David is also one of the only lab members that loves dark beers!
