DateMagnet ("the App") is a dating profile optimization tool for Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.
By using DateMagnet, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Dating profile screenshots: You upload 2-6 screenshots of your dating profile for AI analysis. These are processed and deleted within 24 hours.
- Platform and gender selection: You select your dating platform (Tinder, Bumble, or Hinge) and gender (Man, Woman, or Non-binary) for personalized analysis.
- City: You select your city for location-based algorithm intelligence.
- Chat messages with Sage: If you use Sage (our AI dating coach), your text messages and any screenshots you share within the chat are stored to maintain conversation context and improve coaching quality.
- Name: If you share your name with Sage during conversation, it is saved to personalize your coaching experience.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Anonymous user ID: We use Supabase anonymous authentication to create a unique identifier for your session. This is not linked to your real identity, email, phone number, or any personal account.
- Device and usage data: We collect anonymized analytics data through PostHog, including app usage patterns, screen views, and feature engagement. This data is used solely to improve the App experience.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do NOT collect your real name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials (unless you voluntarily share your name with Sage).
- We do NOT collect your location (GPS, IP-based geolocation, or network-based). City selection is manual and optional.
