Intro to how BFX Stores Data

With all Software Applications, there will be of course a place where our clients will store data in. In BoomerangFX, there are a few data points everyone should be aware of:

Patients - aka Clients/Customers
Procedures - aka Services/Treatments
Appointments - aka Bookings
Products - these include any products used for both Retail and Disposable purposes
Packages - Bundles of a either procedures/products or both for patients to purchase
Memberships - Similar to packages but instead are handled through a subscription process
Forms - includes both Patient Facing & Provider forms

The list mentioned above is required for a practice to have the bare minimum of what they need to use the software. Although, we don’t strive for bare minimum, we want to ensure our clients have all the data they need to adopt the software seamlessly! The other types of data are:

Receipts & Payments
Category Types
Suppliers
Devices/Rooms
Previous EMR History (if coming off of another software)
