We have just closed our funding round, which is the biggest Pre-Seed funding round in the Legal Tech sector in Germany. We are looking to bring our product to market and are currently scaling our team.

About this role

We are developing a cutting-edge platform together with innovative design partners, and the way our customers onboard to our product sets the foundation for lasting success. The Legal Engineer is a pivotal role, blending technical expertise, customer-centric collaboration, and product insight to deliver seamless integrations and an exceptional customer experience.

In this exciting role, you will bridge the gap between LawX’s Product & Tech team and our clients, guiding them smoothly from their legacy systems to the LawX platform. You will ensure flawless integration, frictionless data migration, and impeccable connectivity, setting new benchmarks in onboarding excellence.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate closely with our clients, especially our first clients (design partners), understanding their existing technology stack, processes, and file structures.
• Manage end-to-end data migration from clients’ legacy systems to LawX and assist with exporting data back to their legacy system if needed. This includes configuring and troubleshooting client setup, including connections to email services and client infrastructure.
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients during onboarding (we will have a customer success team for existing clients), translating complex technical requirements clearly to all stakeholders.
• Work proactively with the Product & Tech team to improve onboarding tools, processes, and customer experience.

What you will bring:

• Proactive mindset and the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
• Great interest in Legal Tech and being excited to transform the legal space with new technology.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in technical integrations, migrations, IT consulting, or similar client-facing tech roles.
• Strong SQL skills, experience with API integrations, and familiarity with ETL tools. Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English, confident in presenting technical concepts clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to client sites, ensuring smooth, face-to-face onboarding experiences.
