Dami is a Product Designer with five years of experience in user experience, design systems, and product strategy, has led design at early-stage startups, including Y Combinator-funded and growth-stage companies. Her research-driven, human-centred approach has significantly shaped product direction, improved user and market adoption, and business growth. She’s the founder of Tabs, aka ‘Mobbin for Africa’ for discovering and learning from African digital products. Tabs helps designers, engineers, and product teams see how real-life products are solving design and usability challenges through screenshots categorised by industries, user flows, features, components, and more. Beyond her day-to-day, Dami mentors designers at all stages of their careers, providing guidance to launch and thrive in the industry, refining design processes, working on cross-functional teams, and more. She has organised and spoken at industry meet-ups, design and industry events pushing for inclusivity, diversity, and the success of the African tech industry.
