Tone Tag: Survivors, dreamers, and gunfighters. Fragile flesh in a world of gods and monsters, but too stubborn to quit.

FEATURE 1 — Grit & Gunpowder

“I hate fighting humans. When they run out of bullets, they start bashing you with their gunstocks. When their gunstocks break, they attack you with the splinters. When fighting a human, aim for the head.

Once per rest, reroll a failed attack or skill check involving firearms, tools, or endurance.

If the reroll succeeds, clear 1 Stress — you pushed through when you shouldn’t have been able to.

FEATURE 2 — Pioneer’s Courage

“I know yer scared, kid. I’m scared too. But I buried too many kids like you who froze. Get your sorry ass up.”

When you roll your Fear die higher than your Hope die, you can reroll your Hope die. You must accept the new result even if it’s lower. You can use this once per rest.

WORLD LOGIC :The Mortal Frontier

Humans aren’t the strongest, fastest, or most magical people in Omesa — but they are the most improvisational.

They rebuild what’s burned, reload what’s empty, and find meaning in the sprouts of weeds in the ashes.

In a land ruled by immortal elves and ambitious Orcs, humans survive and thrive by getting to work and never giving up.
