Hotbar is the small Minecraft-style row of slots on the desktop.

Most slots can open a program, file, folder, web address, or special action.
The Inventory opener is reserved as the Inventory button.
If Inventory is hidden, Hotbar can appear as a nine-slot layout.
Hotbar size, item size, text color, drag behavior, and reset controls are in Settings under the Hotbar tab.

Inventory is the larger item grid.

Use it to open more saved items, reach Settings, and start slot editing.

Common Inventory buttons and controls:

Visible control	What it does
`Open usage guide`	Opens the usage guide.
`Open item image folder`	Opens the folder where item images are stored.
`Edit skin`	Opens Editor so you can change item slots.
`Skin settings`	Opens Settings.
`Close inventory`	Closes Inventory.

Inventory can also show a Steve, Alex, or custom Minecraft player skin on the right side.
