SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education & Electoral Participation) is the flagship outreach initiative of the Election Commission of India (ECI) aimed at creating awareness and increasing informed and ethical participation of citizens in elections. SVEEP’s mission is to engage with every eligible citizen—especially the youth, first-time voters, women, rural populations, and marginalized communities—to ensure that voting is seen not just as a right, but a civic responsibility.
Through street plays, social media campaigns, campus activities, and multimedia content, SVEEP bridges the gap between electoral machinery and the people, ensuring inclusivity, transparency, and democratic participation at every level.
