What we're looking for
Our company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Tracing potential business partners and clients in Africa and overseas.
- Responding to business queries proactively and nurturing an optimistic business relationship with the potential customers.
- Onboarding of merchants and ensuring the success of all partners and partnership relations.
- Corresponding with big corporations for the presentation of DafriGroup products and converting the prospects into partners.
- Working closely with sales team to identify and approach potential merchants to leverage on DafriBank Merchant API.
- Working closely with sales team to identify and approach potential crypto/ blockchain projects for possible listing on DafriXchange.
- Physical and video presentation with partners for the furtherance of company objectives while also fostering the working relations.
- Develop a unique onboarding strategy that helps your team win the day.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in business development/sales, preferably at a Fintech/Banking company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, or equivalent (Master’s Degree in Sales and Marketing preferred)
- Experience in drafting persuasive, high-quality correspondence to communicate with the partners.
- An independent thinker with a strong ownership mentality. The team at DafriGroup consists of active, goal-oriented members.
- Remarkable team-leadership and team-player skills. The candidate will be required to often be a part of a team that would present the solutions to the clients.
