Civic Makers' current initiative

• We are building a web-app for councils to collect data and calculate emissions from their employees' work commute
• Our first partner organization is the City of Greater Bendigo.
• Our partners there will distribute the web-app among staff. Their responses will be used to calculate and display a variety of data visualizations.
• Once we’ve delivered the product for them, we hope to expand the product features, make contact with, and build similar products for partner organizations.

What the current tool needs to show on completion

1. Emissions data (assuming total, average, by day, by mode etc. but so long as we have it we can display it)
2. Distribution of commute distances
3. Relationship between distance and transport type
4. Distribution of transport types across the week, accounting for respondents who may change commute behavior depending on day (e.g. WFH or deciding to cycle on particular days)

Weekly catchups on Tuesdays at 6.30pm (Melbourne timezone)
