What is culture?

For us its simple – culture is how we treat one another. It's how we behave during success, failure and challenge. It's the stories we tell one another, and the small but meaningful interactions we have together every day. Our mission is to bring the world together, and that starts with us.

Our Values

1. We take care of each other

Sit in on any meeting and you'll immediately notice something special at Mino – we take care of one another. We go out of our way to help our teammates, as soon as they need it. We support them in taking risks and comfort them in difficult situations. We're really in it together.

2. We trust each other

At Mino we trust each other by default. If you were hired here, it means we trust you. We trust that our colleagues are competent and can get the job done. We trust that we will be given the space to do our work. We trust we will be taken care of when we need it. We trust problems will be resolved. We trust that everyone is doing their best.

3. We face difficult facts together

Building something incredible is incredibly difficult – things will almost never go exactly as planned. We've learned to embrace this. We never tell ourselves stories and instead we face the brutal facts together and permanently solve them at the root cause.

4. We learn from everything that we do

We are an introspective company. Whenever we succeed or fail, we stop and take the time to learn. We dig through our performance in search for ways we can do better next time, and then share them with the entire company. These collective learnings are the building blocks for our future success.

5. We are grateful

Every morning in scrum, we answer a simple question: "What are you grateful for?" This one simple ritual makes us happier everyday. It helps us connect personally with one another, build closer working relationships, and remember just how much fun we are having. Plus, we've learned people really appreciate coffee!

You’ll notice all of our values are simple behaviours that we do together. Together, they form the story of life at Mino: we take care of each other, which allows us to trust one another, which means we can safely face difficult situations and subsequently learn from them, all while being grateful for the opportunity.
