Cultiv8 is building a culture of innovation at Dalhousie's Agricultural Campus in Truro, NS. At the core of its mandate is to improve the sustainability and growth of businesses in the province. We do that by building the competencies crucial to innovators, by making connections, offering opportunities, and by growing future networks across diverse disciplines and backgrounds.
While we support and encourage entrepreneurship, we have room for all areas of interest. People who participate in Cultiv8 gain techniques which enable them to be more competitive in the workforce - because employers gain efficiencies when they hire people who are effective communicators, collaborators, and creative problem-solvers.
Together, our students discover, create and innovate (and have fun doing it). They emerge from Cultiv8 equipped to have impact on their world. It matters because we're faced with big problems...and we need to fill our future with creative solvers.
