Responsibilities
- Build compelling and on-brand packaging copy, including names and taglines
- Collaborate with Game Designers to develop, test, and refine gameplay and then craft accurate, accessible game rules and reference material
- Create light-hearted, consumer-centric card content, including researching and managing editorial review
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce on-trend, on-brand packaging, unboxing experiences, and communication
- Be an active, creative member of a cross-functional team, participating in product brainstorms, approval meetings, and status meetings
- Be prepared for the unexpected, have fun every day, and of course, play lots of games!
Required skills
- Demonstrated creative writing and storytelling talent
- Solid technical and editorial skills
- The ability to pair copy with visual elements
- The ability to work independently, collaboratively, or as a project lead
- Proven time/project management skills with ability to multi-task
- Outstanding attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
- A love for games
- Bachelors of Arts in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent related experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in a copy writing or editorial position in consumer products, magazine/book publishing, or related fields
