About Us

Sade's Book Club (SBC) is a growing community built around reading culture and supporting writers and we're scaling. I’m looking to build SBC into a space to collaborate, tell stories, and grow audiences through the power of books and put reading as a centre of culture.

Bridging the Gap Podcast sits alongside SBC as a space that brings together curious minds to have conversation, make connection, and make impact on solving the worlds most pressing problems.

The Role

I’m hiring a Creative & Community Assistant and hands-on, self driven individual . This is a full-time, based in Lagos, Nigeria.

You'll be working closely with the me across three core areas: content creation, event support, and community management.

What You'll Be Doing

🎨 Design & Content Creation

• Create graphics, reels, carousels, and visual content for SBC's social media platforms using tools such as Canva and CapCut
• Assit in developing and executing a content calendar across platforms
• Support the creative direction as SBC collaborates with brands.
• Assist in producing content for Bridging the Gap Podcast (clips, covers, promotional material)

📅 Events

• Help plan and organise SBC events from intimate monthly gatherings to brand collaborations
• Manage logistics, communications, and on-the-ground support at events
• Support the development of event concepts aligned with SBC's brand direction
