Create Your First Survey

This guide will walk you through creating and publishing your first Product Match survey in just a few steps.

Step 1: Create a New Survey

Once you land on the Product Match homepage, you can create a new survey in any of the following ways:

• Click Add survey in the top-right corner
• If this is your first survey, click Add survey in the center of the screen
• Use the Shopify admin sidebar and click Add survey below the Product Match app

After clicking Add survey, you’ll be redirected to your newly created survey.

Step 2: Preparing the Survey

Your survey is created, but it isn’t ready to go live yet.

Before we can make it available, you’ll need to complete two required steps:

1. Add at least one option to each filter (for example, the filter named Condition)
2. Add at least one result, and map that result to one or more filter options

This ensures customers have choices and receive a meaningful product match.

Step 3: Save the Survey

Once you’ve added:
