In this article you will be guided through creating a Mission template. Mission templates make it more efficient to manage missions with same alert rules and offers the ability automatically create appropriate mission names.

First steps

To access Mission template settings, first select "Settings"on the top-right hand side navigation bar and then click "Mission templates".

Select "Create New" on the Mission templates page.

Template settings

Enter a descriptive Name for the Mission template depending on the use. For example, "Below zero shipment", "Room temperature shipment" or "Medicine cabinet temperature monitoring".

Write a clarifying Description for the operative team who will be starting the missions under this template, so they know to select the right template.

Select which Teams will have access to using this template.

Allow Public read access if you want anybody to see the details of missions created from this mission template after scanning a logger attached to it.

This is useful if your recipient does not have a Logmore account but they need to access the mission's name and data.

Mission details

The Mission detail fields are optional to be filled in, however there is a concrete benefits you can get when using them.

Mission name format (Optional)
