We will brainstorm plots, learn strategies, learn genres and types, and write novellas. Prepare to immerse yourself in the world of coffee shops and keyboards, because you can’t escape it for the 2 weeks you commit to writing. We will follow a similar plan to NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) or 3 Days of Writing, where we are expected to complete a certain number of words to have a completed novel/novella. It may take us to exotic places as we sip coffee and laugh over our choice of words. Guest writers and motivators may visit to encourage us to keep to our course. Who would have thought cowboys, aliens and coffee shops could be so much fun?
<aside> ⚠️ NOTE: This will be intense, and is only for those students who are committed to writing. Horseplay, distraction and annoying behavior will not be tolerated. This is a true commitment for writers.

Computers and coffee cups are a good place to start. You may use an electric typewriter, hand-write, or drink water, but you will be expected to do some of that anyway.
Journals will be provided.
There will be some meeting places off campus. TBD. No transportation will be provided.
