How the startup ecosystem can best support the Government, the HSE and wider efforts to combat the coronavirus challenge

To this end Scale Ireland will be sharing on its Twitter feed (@ScaleIreland) and this document funding for innovative solutions (like the European Innovation Council’s call due 18 March), virtual hackathons etc that are leveraging the best of the startup ecosystem to solve the complex problems facing our healthcare system, economy and society.

• The LEOs are sharing useful information on how to respond to the Coronavirus pandemic, including links to online training courses, support to access funding and vouchers etc.

Department of Business, Enterprise & Innovation

• Some practical steps for businesses to take, as well as links to a variety of targeted supports.

Revenue

• Revenue’s guidance relating to Covid-19 : The Revenue Commissioners has suspended the application of interest on businesses’ late payments of VAT for the January-February return and late payments of employers’ PAYE liabilities for February and March. It also said no debt enforcement activity would take place until further notice.
