A series of events transpired following the crash-landing of an alien vessel in Daneya less than one day ago, involving three known factions: Archpath, Overlook, and the Pale Horse Mercenary Company (PHMC). Additionally, there was confirmation of the involvement of "rogue individuals."
Initially, forces from the various factions either discovered or created entry points into the ship, gaining access to key areas, including a cargo bay filled with a variety of supplies—ranging from food to advanced weaponry and armor.
As Archpath forces began extracting cargo, they were confronted by an unknown hostile group, later identified as the ship’s inhabitants. Some rogue elements were also caught in the crossfire.
Meanwhile, a separate skirmish erupted between Overlook operatives and the alien crew within the ship’s quarters, culminating in the capture of at least two Overlook agents.
PHMC forces, however, managed to avoid violence by initiating peaceful negotiations with the aliens, successfully establishing what has been described as a "ceasefire". This led to the safe retrieval of the Overlook captives.
Further intelligence gathered by PHMC and rogue entities revealed that the aliens, identified as the "Hyquans," had acted in self-defense, driven by a series of miscommunications and misunderstandings. Several incidents led them to perceive the incoming forces as hostile: the ship’s catastrophic crash-landing, the looting of their cargo by Archpath, and an incident where an attempt by a rogue individual to aid a Hyquan was misinterpreted as an assassination attempt. These factors compounded the Hyquans' belief that they were under attack.
PHMC has since remained at the crash site and is collaborating with the Hyquans to decode their language, facilitating more effective communication moving forward.
Archpath was able to seize some of the Hyquans' advanced combat equipment, including weaponry and armor.
Overlook, while suffering no casualties, returned from the operation empty-handed, as their leader was incapacitated in a confrontation with the Hyquans’ leader, identified as Nyeiren Tehetis.
The cause of the ship’s crash remains unclear, but for the time being, it seems unlikely that the Hyquans will be leaving Udyria. The signal that initially led to multiple expeditions has since been deactivated to avoid further complications.
An invitation coming from Archpath and Eugia was transmitted across radios of nearby civilizations. These invitations, although coming from rival groups, were transmitted under the same intention: An anomalous existence was discovered to be inhabiting one of the most hazardous territories of Makrak; so long known as Heaven's Peak, a name that contradicts the truly horrific nature of the biome. The territory was discarded from Humanity's point of interests centuries ago, but now, the amount of unseen anomalies and eventual disappearance of seven individuals drove the faction Archpath mad. While Archpath called all of their followers to hunt down whatever this anomaly was, Eugia had different plans, and that was to sabotage Archpath and take the trophy for their own. Unaware of any victims, Eugia wanted to, and successfully acquired an ancient probe of mysterious visitors of the exo planet.
The event progressed as follows.
In the early morning of March 32th, an expedition unit arrived at Heaven's Peak valleys, before them spread out petrified forests atop a mountainside that they successfully ascended. The expedition unit was led by Zaal Ackard, who as an Archpath's loyal member, assured safety of the journey. A group of PHMC members had followed alongside them. Numerous individuals that did not fall under Archpath had also followed, as to serve Archpath and earn a great reward for their participation. Above the low terrain they travelled across the shiny forest, documenting its unique appearance. In the progress of the journey, an extra member was deployed by PHMC's forces, which was soon identified as Jäger-2826. The robot joined the company of Ella Arce and Infernia.
Below the mountains they suddenly spotted a group of people that were difficult to identify, but upon closer appearance, it was revealed that it has been Eugia all along, struggling to defeat a beast that attacked them.
Archpath carefully advanced down the mountainside and joined them in the fight, which then resulted into the quick departure of Archpath and Eugia making a deal with mentioned mysterious visitors. Eugia acquired the probe by committing a fair trade between the alien inhabitants, soon the probe was received by Eugia's leader Benedict and the group was rewarded with a variety of products.
The evening ended with Archpath's helpers being rewarded with the bare minimum. The group received an honest dinner at a local restaurant, and soon the government provided them with enough money to spend on an appointment with a therapist. The journey was tough, and not rewarding at all, but as a result of the participants' disappointing results, they only received ammunition boxes to compensate for their lost stashes.
A group of brave hunters found their next mission; to take down a monstrosity that has harassed and killed multiple, and recently claimed its next victims. Arthur, Richy and Emily were proclaimed dead, their bodies lost to vultures and the beast itself. The remaining survivors, injured and traumatized, reached out to the nearest community for help. The group then broadcasted an invitation for a hunt, which these hunters, without a second thought, accepted.
